MicroAi Solutions was tasked with building a platform that would make it easy for restaurants to offer delivery services to their customers and for customers to order food from a variety of restaurants through their website and native mobile apps.

To bring FoodJets vision to life, the team at MicroAi Solutions decided to use Node for the backend development, as it was well-known for its scalability and performance. We also used MySQL to store data related to orders, restaurants, and customers because it allowed us to manage and retrieve this information efficiently. MySQL is also highly flexible, supporting a wide range of programming languages, which made it easy for the team to integrate it with our backend technology.

In addition to the backend technology, the team at MicroAi Solutions utilized Golang and Python for the routing processes. This allowed them to create efficient algorithms for determining the best delivery routes for each order, ensuring that food was delivered to customers as quickly as possible.

For the front end, the team used Angular and React to create a beautiful and intuitive website and dashboard for both restaurants and customers. This allowed restaurants to easily manage their orders and track delivery progress, providing customers with a seamless and enjoyable experience when ordering food.

In addition to our own technology, we utilized a range of third-party solutions for communication, including Twilio and SendGrid. We also utilized Iterable for email orchestration and Elastic Search for logging data.

To ensure the scalability of our system as FoodJets grew, we adopted a cloud-native approach and used Google Cloud Platform.

After months of hard work and dedication, FoodJets was finally ready to launch in late 2015. The platform quickly gained traction and became a popular choice for both restaurants and customers in the local area.

As the company continued to grow and expand, it eventually caught the attention of Raley's Supermarkets. In June 2021, FoodJets was acquired by Raley's due to its exceptional technology and ability to efficiently route deliveries for various types of food and grocery. The company was also noted for its comprehensive reporting capabilities.
